Join us for a special evening celebrating the archive launch and wrap of the Club Kali “Where East Meets West” Heritage Project – a vibrant new archive documenting 30 years of queer South Asian club life, culture, and community.

This celebration event brings together friends, collaborators, and community to mark the completion of the project and share the legacy of Club Kali. Explore the archive collection and other LGBTQ+ heritage materials, join a guided archive tour led by the team at Bishopsgate Institute, and hear from the people behind the project.

As the evening unfolds, expect presentations, speeches, live performances, and a short Bolly dance class before we shift gears into full celebration mode – with snacks, drinks (alcoholic beverages from the cash bar), and a proper Club Kali dancefloor.

And of course, no Club Kali party would be complete without music – DJ Ritu will be on the decks to keep you moving.

Come celebrate the stories, the community, and the legacy of Club Kali – Where East meets West, on and off the dancefloor. ✨
